Illusionhole Station Furniture

IllusionHoleStation Concept renderingIllusionHoleStation Concept rendering The IllusionHoleStation is an interactive, stereoscopic display system, providing multiple users a perspective correct vision. Multiuser interaction was main priority. The IllusionHoleStation is based on the idea of the Illusion Hole developed at Human Interface Lab at the Osaka University. Later the team around Prof. Dr. Bernd Fröhlich developed that idea further and the IllusionHoleStation was created.

Process

My role in development here was to create a decent furniture to provide all the finetuning needed for the system as well as creating several prototypes to show the multiuser capability. The enclosure is made of plywood and provides active cooling for the monitor and the computer system as well as multiple adjustment features for height, focus and frustum as well as exchangeable holes.
